CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the plans for state project no. 6933-95 showing proposed alignments and geometrics for the reconstruction and improvement of Trunk Highway 194 (Mesaba Avenue) and Superior Street, from 250 feet west of Glen Place Drive to 400 feet west of Sixth Avenue West within the limits of the city as a state project have been prepared and presented to the city, and that said plans be in all things approved.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize the state project within the city to make geometric and roadway improvements on Trunk Highway 194 (Mesaba Avenue) and Superior Street, from 250 feet west of Glen Place Drive to 400 feet west of Sixth Avenue West. Final layouts are on file with the Minnesota Department of Transportation Duluth office, identified as Layout No. 1.
MnDOT held an open house/public meeting for this project on August 15, 2017. This project is expected to be constructed in 2018, and will be funded 100% by MnDOT.
