RESOLUTION APPROVING APPOINTMENT OF JAMES RIEHL TO THE DULUTH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT JOINT AIRPORT ZONING BOARD

CITY PROPOSAL:
WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 360.063, Subdivision 3, and the Duluth International Airport Zoning Ordinance enacted by the Duluth International Airport Joint Zoning Board on April 18, 1988, the city shall appoint four members to the Duluth International Airport Joint Zoning Board for a term of three (3) years each.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Mayor Emily Larson hereby appoints James Riehl as city representative member for the Duluth International Airport Joint Airport Zoning Board effective October 9, 2017 for a term of three years.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution appoints Jim Riehl to the Duluth International Airport Joint Zoning Board. Jim is Dean Emeritus of the Swenson College of Science and Engineering, University of Minnesota Duluth.
