RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY FROM RMM LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,000 FOR PROPERTY ADJACENT TO THE WATER AND GAS BUILDING ON GARFIELD AVENUE.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into the purchase agreement, substantially the same as the agreement attached as Exhibit 1, with RMM Limited Liability Company, authorizing the purchase of a real property legally described on Exhibit A to Exhibit 1.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to disburse twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) for the purchase price of certain
real property, plus all other costs needed in connection the acquisition of the property, including but not limited to the title commitment, closing costs, filing fees, and deed tax; said costs shall be payable from Fund No. 500-1915-5510 (Public Works and Utilities, Utility General Expense, Land) and split equally from the following funds:

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the acquisition of the real property from RMM Limited Liability Company.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to authorize the purchase of the real property legally described on Exhibit A to Exhibit 1 from RMM Limited Liability Company in the amount of $20,000, plus all other costs in connection with the acquisition of the property. Drawn exhibits of the parcels of land to be purchased are depicted on the attached Exhibit 2. An aerial view of the total property to be purchased is depicted on the attached Exhibit 3.
The property to be purchase lies adjacent to the City’s Water and Gas Building on Garfield Avenue. The purchase of this property will allow the City to utilize property directly behind and adjacent to the Water and Gas Building.
