CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to submit a prosecutorial services to crime victims 2018-2019 grant application to the Minnesota department of public safety, office of justice program (“OJP”), crime victim services, for funding for a full time victim services position in the city attorney’s office to enhance existing services for crime victims and to improve how the city attorney’s office meets its statutory requirements toward crime victims.

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to authorize the city attorney’s office to submit a grant application to OJP for funding to support a victim services position in the city attorney’s office.
