CITY PROPOSAL:

            RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to extend and amend an agreement in the form substantially attached as Exhibit A with Tyler Technologies, for maintenance and support of New World Systems software for an amount not to exceed $217,132, payable from funds as follows:

$ 13,750                     510-500-1915-5414 (water, Public Works and Utilities, utility general expense, software licenses and maintenance agreement.

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution authorizes an extension and amendment of an agreement, substantially in the format attached as Exhibit A, for maintenance and support services of New World Systems by Tyler Technologies.

 

The City entered into an original agreement with New World in 2004.  New World and Tyler Technologies merged and became Tyler Technologies, Inc. in 2015.

 

The City is extending this contract to continue the support and maintenance which expires on December 31, 2017.  The suite of software applications encompassed in this agreement support the City’s Financial Management, Human Resources, Payroll, Utility Billing, Animal and Business Licensing functions.
