RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT EXTENDING THE CITY OF DULUTH CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER 2016-2017 EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an amendment, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, to the City of Duluth Administrative Officer 2016-2017 Employment Contract to provide for successive annual renewal of the employment contract of the city’s chief administrative officer. This amendment shall be effective retroactive to January 1, 2018.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The Chief Administrative Officer 2016-2017 Employment Contract expired on December 31, 2017. This amendment provides for successive one year extensions of the employment contract until such contract is terminated by either party or superseded by a successor contract. The rate of pay will remain the same.
