RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PROPER CITY OFFICIALS TO ACCEPT FUNDS FROM HEALTHPARTNERS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE "MAKEITOK CAMPAIGN".

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the city of Duluth is hereby authorized to accept $20,000 from HealthPartners, to be used for the implementation of the MakeItOK campaign to support HealthPartners members residing in Carlton, Cook, Lake, and St. Louis Counties. The funds will be used collaboratively on the regional initiative in partnership with the Carlton, Cook, Lake and St. Louis County Community Health Board.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that these funds will be accounted for in Fund 210-030-3149-4270 (Special Projects, Finance, Make It OK Grant, Other Grants).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to authorize the city to accept a $20,000 grant from HealthPartners (attached as Exhibit A), to be used for the implementation of the MakeItOK campaign. The MakeItOK campaign will encourage awareness about mental illness by encouraging open conversations and education on this topic.
