CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Westwood Professional Services, Inc. to provide professional engineering services for preliminary engineering of the Kayak Bay Road project, the proposal for which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, in an amount not to exceed $93,260, payable from Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings, city project no. 1403, Requisition No. 18-0231.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize an agreement with Westwood Professional Services, Inc. to provide professional engineering services for preliminary engineering for the Kayak Bay Road project, to include development of a public road, a trailer parking lot and loop access road to Kayak Bay with parking, and public utilities to include water, sanitary sewer and storm water.
Westwood Professional Services has completed the storm water management plan, the street alignment plan, the preliminary plat of the property and the traffic analysis for the Kayak Bay development. Due to its familiarity with the location and its understanding of the project, it was the sole firm from which a proposal was solicited.
