CITY PROPOSAL:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Duluth city council hereby approves the permanent expansion of the designated serving area of the following on sale intoxicating liquor license for the period ending August 31, 2018, subject to departmental approvals:
The Sound Duluth, LLC (Sound), 132 East Superior Street, STE 2A, to include the event space upstairs which was the previous footprint to “Tycoons” and “The Blind Pig” The area will be used for one large event space for groups over 75 people, and one room for groups of 20 people and one smaller space for “Chef’s Table” seating of 8. See Attachment A.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: PURPOSE: The permanent expansion of the designated serving area of the on sale intoxicating liquor license of Sound Duluth, LLC (Sound) was reviewed and recommended for approval by the Alcohol, Gambling and Tobacco Commission at their April 4, 2018 meeting.
