RESOLUTION CHANGING THE 2018 ELECTION JUDGE COMPENSATION.

CITY PROPOSAL: Resolved, that pursuant to Minnesota Statute, 204B.31(d), 2018 election judges shall be compensated at the rate of $9.65 per hour, chairman election judges shall be also compensated at $11 per hour, and precinct support judges $11 per hour. In addition, election judges carrying supply returns shall be compensated for mileage at the rate of 54.5 cents per mile; payable from General Fund 110, Department 121, Organization 1211, Object 5103.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The change in election judge pay is reflecting the change in minimum wage in Minnesota. Election judge pay is changing from $9.50 per hour to $9.65 per hour, chairman election judges and precinct will receive $11 per hour.
