CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to accept a grant from the Duluth legacy endowment fund in the amount of $850 to purchase an AED defibrillator for the park point beach house, funds to be deposited into Fund 605-036-1650-4660 (self-insurance, insurance accounts, insurance - administration, gifts and donations) and to execute a grant agreement with the Duluth Superior area community foundation, attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the proper city officials to execute a grant agreement with the Duluth Superior area community foundation and accept a grant from the Duluth legacy endowment fund in the amount of $850. The grant will be used to purchase an AED defibrillator for the park point beach house. This AED will replace a machine that was stolen from the beach house last summer.
