CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Northland Constructors of Duluth, LLC, for the 2018 Street Preservation Project in the amount of $1,119,152.62, payable out of Special Assessment Fund 440, Department/Agency 038, Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1690.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the 2018 Street Preservation Project on the following street segments:
Clover Street from East Eighth Street to Woodland Avenue
East Eighth Street from Wallace Avenue to Clover Street
Highland Street from Central Avenue to 57th Avenue West
West Anoka Street from Maxwell Avenue to Woodland Avenue
Maxwell Avenue from West Anoka Street to West Redwing Street
Bristol Street from Central Avenue to 1,000 feet east
by Northland Constructors of Duluth, LLC in the amount of $1,119,152.62. Northland Constructors of Duluth, LLC was the lowest responsible bidder of the two companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $1,095,290. Payable out of Special Assessment Fund 440, Department/Agency 038, Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1690, requisition no. 18-0266.
