CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the city council hereby increases the total expenditure of the 2018 CDBG Program by an amount of $179,828 due to an increase in the allocation to the city by HUD from the original estimate of $2,184,800 to the final HUD award of $2,364,628, and authorizes changes to contracts as set forth below:

Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution is to finalize the 2018 CDBG Program portion of the Community Development program. The city budgeted $2,184,800 for the FY 2018 HUD award to the CDBG program in Resolution 18-0079R. The federal Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) officially notified the city of the FY 2018 CDBG allocation on May 14, 2018 for the program year that runs from April 1, 2018 through March 31, 2019.
