RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PERMANENT EXPANSION OF THE ON SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE OF JUST TAKE ACTION, INC. (THE RATHESKELLER), 132 EAST SUPERIOR STREET, 55802

CITY PROPOSAL:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Duluth city council hereby approves the permanent expansion of the designated serving area of the following on sale intoxicating liquor license for the period ending August 31, 2018, subject to departmental approvals:
Just Take Action, Inc. (The Ratheskeller), 132 East Superior Street to include the event space upstairs which was the previous footprint to “Tycoons” and “The Blind Pig” and the entire serving area that was the previous footprint to “Sound” The area will be used for space for groups over 75 people, and one small room for groups of 20 people and one smaller space for “Chef’s Table” seating of 8 upstairs and the entire area of the previous “Sound” as an extension of The Ratheskeller service area.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: PURPOSE: The permanent expansion of the designated serving area of the on sale intoxicating liquor license of Just Take Action, Inc. (The Ratheskeller) was reviewed and recommended for approval by the Alcohol, Gambling and Tobacco Commission at their July 11, 2018 meeting.
