RESOLUTION APPOINTING ARIK FORSMAN TO FILL THE VACANCY OF THE AT LARGE CITY COUNCIL SEAT.

BY COUNCILOR ANDERSON:
WHEREAS, Councilor at large Elissa Hansen resigned her city council seat on July 17, 2018, and
WHEREAS, the Duluth City Charter requires the city council to fill a vacancy in a city council seat by appointment of an eligible person to serve until the next municipal election.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the city council hereby appoints Arik Forsman to fill the vacant at large city council seat effective August 9, 2018.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution appoints Arik Forsman to fill the vacancy of the at large city council seat following the resignation of Elissa Hansen.
