CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that contract L30064 with JMF Construction, Inc. for the 2018 Citywide Patch and Sidewalk project be increased in the amount of $111,642.70 for a new total of $587,791.70. This increase is payable from Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1685.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize an amendment to contract L30064 with JMF Construction, Inc. for related expenses to the 2018 Patch and Sidewalk project, increasing the contract amount by $111,642.70 for a new total of $587,791.70. This amendment will authorize the contractor to perform utility patch work on 17 additional sites, included in Change Order 3. Change Order 2 was authorized under the city’s purchasing requirements to allow JMF to complete the annual manhole adjustments. All work is included in the 2018 utility budget and will be paid from the appropriate utility funds.
