CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a five-year agreement, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit A, with CDW for Flex Collaboration Services for an annual amount of $61,029.24 and a total amount not to exceed $305,146.20, payable from fund 110-121-1107-5404 (general, public administration, information technology, equipment/machinery repair & mtc).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the proper city officials to enter into a five-year enterprise license agreement with Cisco Systems, Inc. (CISCO) through CDW for flex collaboration services.
This enterprise licensing will include current CISCO phone infrastructure licensing with voicemail, emergency location identification and alerting, as well as the enhanced added features of cloud collaboration, web-ex meetings and Jabber presence with instant messaging capabilities. Added benefits to the enterprise license include unlimited users and desk phones, user training portal, email integration, and foundational licensing for video conferencing and recording necessary for the planned future upgrade of the public safety video conferencing system.
This purchase is utilizing CDW’s state contract pricing with additional vendor and reseller discounts applied.
