CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the council approves the securing of bids for the purchase of personal protective equipment for the police department and awarding the bid therefore, all in accordance with Section 41-24 of the Duluth City Code, 1959, as amended, utilizing capital equipment funds approved by Resolution 17- 0837 on December 4, 2017, not to exceed $83,721 payable from Fund 250-015-2018-5580 Project CE250-E1812 (Capital Equipment Fund, Public Administration, Capital Equipment, Police Personal Protective Equipment).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: Fulfilling a commitment made to council by the administration, this resolution approves the purchase of personal protective equipment for the police department. The personal protective equipment will be purchased with funds approved by Resolution 17-0837 on December 4, 2017.
