RESOLUTION DEDICATING A DRAINAGE EASEMENT ON PROPERTY ADJACENT TO THE CROSS CITY TRAIL NEAR 73RD AVENUE WEST.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the city of Duluth does hereby dedicate to the general public a drainage easement over city-owned property in St. Louis County, Minnesota legally described and depicted on the attached Exhibit A.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to record with the St. Louis County Recorder and/or Registrar of Titles of St. Louis County, Minnesota, a certified copy of this resolution effectuating the dedication granted under this resolution.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution dedicates to the general public a drainage easement over city-owned property adjacent to the Cross City Trail near 73rd Avenue West.
The City constructed Phase IV of the Cross City Trail in 2015 and installed a culvert to help deter water away from the trail. This resolution formally dedicates a drainage easement in favor of the public over the culvert area.
