CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to contract with Terrazzo & Concrete Restoration, Inc. to install a vehicle barrier on the library/depot upper lot for a total amount not to exceed $124,490.00, payable from fund 505-015-1480-2513 5404 (parking fund, public administration, off street parking, municipal lots, parking lot maintenance).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a contract with Terrazzo & Concrete Restoration, Inc. for the installation of a vehicle barrier on the library/depot upper lot for an amount not to exceed $124,490.
The vehicle barrier will be installed along the eastern, western, and southern perimeters of the library/depot upper parking lot to raise safety standards to current recommended levels. The structurally-integrated vehicle barrier is designed to stop a vehicle prior to reaching the edges of the structure.
Purchasing issued an Invitation to Bid on October 4, 2018, and received four bids as listed below. Terrazzo & Concrete Restoration, Inc. submitted the lowest responsive bid.
