CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an amendment, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit A, to a Master Services Agreement with EPC Engineering & Testing for professional geotechnical and material testing services, increasing the annual estimated amounts for years 2018, 2019, and 2020 to $75,000 and increasing the total contract to an amount not to exceed to $325,000, payable from various appropriate funds, departments, agencies and objects, Project 1722.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution increases the five-year master services agreement with EPC Engineering & Testing (EPC). The annual estimated amount for years 2018, 2019 and 2020 will be increased from $50,000 to $75,000 per year, increasing the total contract to an amount not to exceed to $325,000.
The Superior Street Reconstruction project has resulted in an increased demand for geotechnical and materials testing services. EPC has been the lead firm providing these services for the Superior Street project, and it is anticipated that they will continue to do so through the scheduled project completion date of October 2020.
This is a blanket purchase agreement, which does not guarantee that a minimum amount of services will be ordered.
