CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with St. Louis County, substantially in the form of the attached Exhibit A, for the rehabilitation of Bridge 69504, at CSAH 12 (East Superior Street and the Lester River) in the city of Duluth. As part of this project, the city water main running within the bridge will be repainted. The total cost to the city of Duluth is estimated to be $100,000, to be paid from Water Utility Fund 510, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue), S.A.P. 069-612-016, city project no. 1749.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the city of Duluth to enter into an agreement with St. Louis County for the city’s share of utility improvements in conjunction with the rehabilitation of Bridge 69504 on Superior Street at the Lester River. Planned improvements include painting the city water main within the bridge. This work will take place in 2019. The estimated cost to the city of Duluth is $100,000. Payable from Water Utility Fund 510, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue), S.A.P. 069-612-016, city project no. 1749.
