CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that contract L30025 with Lake Superior Consulting, LLC for professional engineering services for the gas transmission pipeline in line inspection project be amended to include additional pigging tool operational support, and feature confirmatory inspection dig coordination in the attached change order that were not included in the scope of the original contract, and to increase the amount by an estimated $28,498.50 for a new total of $62,956.50, payable from Gas Utility Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1930 (Engineering), Object 5303 (Engineering Services), city project no. 1727.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends contract L80025 with Lake Superior Consulting, LLC by an estimated amount of $28,498.50. This amendment is necessary due to the change in scope of the original contract as detailed in the attached proposal for additional services. City staff requires assistance from Lake Superior Consulting, LLC to perform post inspection tool defect assessment services for the gas transmission pipeline in line inspection project. Payable out of Gas Utility Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1930 (Engineering), Object 5303 (Engineering Services), city project no. 1727, requisition no. 18-0083.
