CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to contract with Macqueen Equipment for the purchase of a 2019 Trackless MT7 Municipal Tractor and two fifty-one inch snow blowers in an amount not to exceed $187,562 payable from 250-015-2019-5580, CE250-V1911 (Capital Equipment, Public Administration, Fiscal Year 2019, Capital Equipment, New Trackless - Park Maintenance).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the purchase of a 2019 Trackless MT7 Municipal Tractor and two fifty-one inch replacement snow blowers from Macqueen Equipment. The purchase will increase the City’s fleet of high-efficiency sidewalk snow clearing vehicles from two to three and substantially reduce their down time. The purchase supports the Comprehensive Plan directive to improve the accessibility of the City’s priority sidewalks and trails in the winter.
This purchase is against Minnesota State Contract #725-417.
