CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with MSA Professional Services, Inc. to provide professional engineering design services for the Lift Station 15 Relocation project in the amount of $130,359, payable out of Sanitary Sewer Fund 530, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1803, S.P. 6982-322. City funds will be fully reimbursed by MnDOT as part of its Twin Ports Interchange project per agreement no. 1032661.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement with MSA Professional Services, Inc. for professional engineering design services for the relocation of Lift Station 15. This relocation is necessary as part of MnDOT’s Twin Ports Interchange project, and will involve construction of a new lift station and demolition of the existing lift station. Federal funds will be used for construction. Due to the complexity of bidding a federally funded project, the city requested the services of a consultant engineer.
