CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to accept, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit 1, from the State of Minnesota, for $150 a permanent easement for street and utility purposes over, under, and across the lands described and depicted on Exhibit A to the attached Exhibit 1; payment to be made from Fund No. 110-500-1930-2300-5414 (General, Public Works and Utilities, Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Other Services and Charges).

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution authorizes the acceptance of a permanent easement for utility and access purposes from the State of Minnesota, for $150, over tax-forfeited property located at the intersection of W. Page St. and Joshua Ave.  A portion of the existing road lies outside of the platted right-of-way and crosses onto tax-forfeit property.  The acceptance of this easement accepts an easement so that the city and public have legal access to this right-of-way.
