CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proposed specifications for the new civil service classification of data release coordinator (attached as Exhibit A), which were approved by the civil service board on January 8, 2019, are approved; that said classification shall be subject to the city's collective bargaining agreement with its basic unit employees; and that pay range for said classification shall be Range 130, $3,995 to $4,691 per month.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The new classification of data release coordinator has been created to respond to all of the police department's internal and external information requests while adhering to department, local, state, and federal data practices laws and guidelines. The pay range negotiated for the classification is Range 130, $3,995 to $4,691 per month.
