CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to accept a grant award, substantially in the form of Exhibit A, from the Minnesota department of public safety, state fire marshal division, in the amount of $6,473.50, said funds to be deposited into Fund 210, Agency 030, Organization 3202, Revenue Source 4220-02 (Special Projects, Finance, Turnout Gear Washer/Extractor/Dryer Award Fund, State of Minnesota, Operating), and committed for the purpose of purchasing a turnout gear extractor for the Duluth fire department with matching funds in the amount of $6,473.50 to be provided from Fund 250-015-2019-5580 CE 250-E1916 (Capital Equipment, Public Administration, Fiscal Year 2019, Capital Equipment, Project: Extractors - Fire).

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the acceptance of an award in the amount of $6,473.50 from the Minnesota fire marshal division for the purpose of purchasing a turnout gear extractor.
