CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with St. Louis County, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit A, to paint five traffic signal systems in the city of Duluth. The total cost to the city of Duluth for the project will not exceed $70,000, to be paid from the Public Utility Street Lighting Fund 550, Department/Agency 120 (Public Administration), Object 5310 (Contract Services - Lights and Signals Painting), city project no. 1814.

 

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the city of Duluth to enter into an agreement with St. Louis County to paint five traffic signal systems in the city of Duluth. The city of Duluth is responsible for the maintenance of these five systems, which includes painting. St. Louis County will prepare the plan, specifications, and perform all necessary contract administration. The city of Duluth will pay St. Louis County the cost of Duluth’s share, not to exceed $70,000, to be paid from the Public Utility Street Lighting Fund 550, Department/Agency 120 (Public Administration), Object 5310 (Contract Services - Lights and Signals Painting), city project no. 1814.
