CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute a first amendment, substantially in the form attached hereto as Amendment # 1 to the grant award from the state of Minnesota, department of natural resources, to accept an additional $4,999, increasing the award amount from $17,110 to $22,109 and to extend the award term from December 31, 2019 to June 30, 2020, to support the Duluth police department’s hooked on fishing program.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the proper city officials to accept an additional $4,999 in grant funds from the State of Minnesota, Department of Natural Resources increasing the award amount from $17,110 to $22,109. The additional grant funding will be applied to costs associated with the Duluth Police Department’s Hooked on Fishing program. The grant period will also be extended from December 31, 2019 to June 30, 2020.
