CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a telepresence network use agreement, substantially in the form of the attached document A, with the Arrowhead Health Alliance, to provide the Duluth police department with two ipads and access to the Vidyo platform, an integrated network utilizing telepresence connectivity, to allow mental health providers and others to engage in telepresence visits.  The equipment and network connectivity is being provided at no cost to the city of Duluth.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a telepresence network use agreement with the Arrowhead Health Alliance to provide the Duluth Police Department with access to the Vidyo platform, an integrated network utilizing telepresence connectivity, to allow mental health providers and others to engage in telepresence visits.  This will enable telepresence connection between police officers in the field and the mobile crisis response team.  The Arrowhead Health Alliance will also provide the Duluth Police Department with two iPads.  The iPads and network connectivity are being provided at no cost to the city of Duluth.
