CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a development and assessment agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 1, with Spirit Valley Land Company, LLC, dated March 13, 2019, pursuant to which the owner agrees to the assessment against the following-described property in St. Louis County, Minnesota for 48% of the cost for reconstruction and installation of natural gas mains related to the River West Development as described in city project no. 1805:
Lots 1 through 24, Block 10, and lots 1 through 21, Block 12, all in IRONTON First Division.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to authorize the City to enter into a Development and Assessment Agreement with Spirit Valley Land Company, LLC, dated March 13, 2019, pursuant to which the city will reconstruct and install approximately 620 feet of 16-inch natural gas main to accommodate the River West Development. The developer will be assessed for 48% of the project costs thereof.
There is a companion resolution (19-0184R) recommending award of the bid for this work.
