CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with LHB, Inc., substantially in the form of the attached Exhibit A, to provide professional engineering design services for the TH 53 and I 35 Utility Relocations project in the amount of $120,943, payable out of Sanitary Sewer fund 530, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements, city project no. 1825, S.P. 6982-322. City funds will be fully reimbursed by MnDOT as part of its Twin Ports Interchange project per agreement no. 1032661.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement with LHB, Inc. for professional engineering design services for the TH 53 and I 35 Utility Relocations project. This relocation is necessary as part of MnDOT’s Twin Ports Interchange project, and will involve construction of sanitary sewer and water main. Federal funds will be used for construction. Due to the complexity of bidding a federally funded project, the city requested the services of a consultant engineer.
