CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the plans for state project no. 6910-106 showing proposed alignments and geometrics for the pavement improvements to 134^th Avenue West from Trunk Highway 23 to approximately 250 feet north within the city limits as a state project have been prepared and presented to the city, and that said plans be in all things improved.

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution will authorize the state project within the city to make roadway improvements on 134^th Avenue West from Trunk Highway 23 to approximately 250 feet north to save two existing homes.  The new street access will deem the existing West Fourth Street route obsolete, so that it can be removed from the cemetery.  Final layouts are on file with the Minnesota Department of Transportation Duluth office, identified as S.P. 6910-106 Layout 1.  A copy of the layout is attached.  This project will be 100% funded by MnDOT.
