RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to purchase network switch replacements from Works Computing, Inc. in the total amount of $212,503.39, payable as follows:
$33,592.82 250-015-2018-5580, CE250-e1807 (Capital Equipment, Public Administration, Fiscal Year 2018, Capital Equipment; Capital Equipment Fund 250, Network Equipment Replacement)
$178,910.57 250-015-2019-5580, CE250-e1907 (Capital Equipment, Public Administration, Fiscal Year 2019, Capital Equipment; Capital Equipment Fund 250, Network Equipment Replacement)
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to authorize the purchase of network switch replacements from Works Computing, Inc., in the total amount of $212,503.39. The purchase will replace aged end-of-life and end-of-support network switches across multiple City buildings to maintain adequate network connection.
This purchase is through Minnesota state contract 147122, Release T-653(5).
