CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Hanco Utilities, Inc. for the Woodland Avenue Gas Main Replacement Phase 2 project in the amount of $410,862 payable from Gas Utility Fund 520, Department 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 1750.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize award of a contract to Hanco Utilities, Inc. in the amount of $410,862 for the installation of approximately 1,800 linear feet of 6” PE gas main in Woodland Avenue from St. Paul Avenue to Oxford Street, and the abandonment or removal of the old 6” steel gas main. Hanco Utilities, Inc. was the only responsible bidder to respond. The engineer’s estimate was $404,461. Payable from Gas Utility Fund 520, Department 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 1750, requisition no. 19-99375.
