CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with The Jamar Company for the Lakewood Water Treatment Plant Filter Building Roof Replacement project in the amount of $524,650 payable from Water Utility Fund 510, Department 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 1745.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize award of a contract to The Jamar Company in the amount of $524,650 for the removal of the existing roof and installation of a new roof system at the Lakewood Water Treatment Plant filter building. The Jamar Company was the only responsible bidder to respond. The engineer’s estimate was $514,028. Payable from Water Utility Fund 510, Department 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 1745, requisition no. 19-99373.
