CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement substantially in the form of that attached hereto as Attachment 1, with the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Duluth, a Minnesota public body corporate and politic, accepting a permanent, perpetual easement for utility purposes over Authority-owned property in SACKETTE ADDITION, which easement is more specifically described in said attachment and the exhibit thereto.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to authorize the city to enter into an agreement for a permanent utility easement with the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Duluth across a portion of HRA-owned property. The city of Duluth intends to install one or more sanitary sewer pipelines in that portion of the property. This easement will provide for the ability to construct and maintain the sewers in the easement area.
