CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the city council approves settlement of all claims or causes of action against the city of Duluth in the matter of Christine Sheran v. City of Duluth venued in Saint Louis County District Court of the State of Minnesota as file no. 69DU-CV-18-1461, pursuant to the terms and conditions of a Settlement Agreement substantially in the form of that attached hereto as Exhibit A in the amount of $75,000 payable from Fund 610-036-1651-5841 (Self Insurance Liabilities, Insurance Accounts, General City, Liability Claims Expense).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes city officials to implement the Settlement Agreement in Christine Sheran v. City of Duluth. City administration and the city attorney recommend approval of this settlement agreement.
