RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE SUB-RECIPIENT FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH ISD 709 ADULT BASIC EDUCATION INCREASING THE CONTRACT AMOUNT BY $4,450 FOR A CONTRACT AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $11,029, EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE AGREEMENT AND AMENDING THE WORK PLAN AND BUDGET.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVE, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a first amendment to the sub-recipient funding agreement (city contract no. 23475) with ISD 709 Adult Basic Education, substantially in the form of that attached hereto as Exhibit A, increasing the contract amount by $4,450 for a total amount not to exceed $11,029, extending the term of the agreement and amending the work plan and budget.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize a first amendment to a sub-recipient funding agreement between ISD 709 Adult Basic Education and the city allocating an additional $4,450 to the ISD 709 Adult Basic Education. In addition, the original work plan is amended to authorize ISD 709 Adult Basic Education to teach a new class. The term of the agreement is extended until September 30, 2019.
