CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that contract L30190 with LHB, Inc. for professional engineering services for the T.H. 53 and I-35 utility design services be amended to include the design services in the attached amendment that were not included in the scope of the original contract, and to increase the amount by $111,452 for a new total of $232,395. Payable from Sanitary Sewer fund 530, Department 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue), city project no. 1825.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends contract L30190 with LHB, Inc. by amount of $111,452. This amendment is necessary due to the change in scope of the original contract as detailed in the attached change order request. City staff requires assistance from LHB, Inc. to perform design services for the T.H. 53 and I-35 utility design services associated with MnDOT’s Twin Ports Interchange project. Payable from Sanitary Sewer fund 530, Department 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue), city project no. 1825, requisition no. 99-0481. The costs are 100% reimbursable from MnDOT per MnDOT agreement no. 1032661/city agreement no. 23584-02.
