RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF OFF AND ON SALE INTOX-ICATING LIQUOR LICENSES FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 1, 2019, AND ENDING AUGUST 31, 2020.

CITY PROPOSAL:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the city council of the city of Duluth hereby approves the renewal of the off sale and on sale intoxicating liquor licenses listed on Attachment A for the period beginning September 1, 2019, and ending August 31, 2020, and further approves the issuance of such licenses by the liquor control commissioner subject to departmental approvals, and the payment of all sales and property taxes, and any delinquent fees as provided for in the Duluth City Code.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The Alcohol, Gambling, and Tobacco Commission reviewed the off sale and on sale intoxicating liquor license renewals at their meeting on July 10, 2019 and recommended approval of the renewals subject to applicable departmental approvals and payment in full of any delinquent sales and property taxes, and any delinquent fees as provided for in the Duluth City Code. The police department has reviewed and recommended approval of the renewals.
