CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to accept, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit 1, from the Duluth Economic Development Authority, a permanent easement for public recreational, walkway, and trail purposes over, under, and across the lands legally described on Exhibit A to the attached Exhibit 1 and depicted on Exhibit B to the attached Exhibit 1, at no cost to the City.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution authorizes the acceptance of a permanent easement for public recreational, walkway, and trail purposes from Duluth Economic Development Authority (“DEDA”) over, under, and across property located near the intersection of S.37th Avenue West and Oneota Street, at no cost to the City.  This easement allows the City to construct and maintain the Cross City Trail on property owned by DEDA.
