CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to accept, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit 1, from Moline Machinery, LLC, a permanent easement utility purposes over, under, and across the lands legally described on Exhibit A to the attached Exhibit 1 and depicted on Exhibit B to the attached Exhibit 1, at no cost to the City.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution authorizes the acceptance of a permanent easement for utility purposes from Moline Machinery, LLC (“Moline Machinery”) over, under, and across property located near the intersection of S. Central Avenue and Waseca Industrial Road, at no cost to the City. 

 

In connection with Moline Machinery’s recent expansion, an existing sanitary sewer main needed to be replaced.  Upon competition of the new sewer main, which was constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved to by the City Engineer, the infrastructure is to be turned over to the City.  The acceptance of this easement allows the City to own, operate, and maintain the new sanitary sewer main.
