CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement, substantially in the form of the attached Exhibit A, with MSA Professional Services, Inc. to provide professional engineering design and construction services for the East Second Street Reconstruction project, from Sixth Avenue East to 12th Avenue East, payable from Street Improvement Fund 440, Department/Agency 038, Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1851.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement with MSA Professional Services, Inc. for professional engineering design and construction services for the East Second Street Reconstruction project, from Sixth Avenue East to 12th Avenue East. This project is necessary for the Regional Exchange Medical District improvements, and will upgrade the utility capacity and condition of the steam, hot water, water, storm water and sanitary sewer systems as well as reconstruct the roadway. The city is required to spend $10,000,000 in local funds within the Regional Exchange Medical District as a condition of the bonding language.
