RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PERMANENT EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC RECREATIONAL, WALKWAY AND TRAIL PURPOSES IN CONNECTION WITH THE CROSS CITY TRAIL FROM MOLINE MACHINERY, LLC AUTHORITY OVER, UNDER, AND ACROSS PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE IRVING NEIGHBORHOOD, AT NO COST TO THE CITY.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to accept, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit 1, from Moline Machinery, LLC, a permanent easement for public recreational, walkway, and trail purposes over, under, and across the lands legally described on Exhibit B to the attached Exhibit 1 and depicted on Exhibit C to the attached Exhibit 1, at no cost to the City.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the acceptance of a permanent easement for public recreational, walkway, and trail purposes from Moline Machinery, LLC (“Moline Machinery”) over, under, and across property located near the intersection of S. Central Avenue and Waseca Industrial Road, at no cost to the City.
This easement allows the City to construct and maintain the Cross City Trail on property owned by Moline Machinery. This segment of the trail is adjacent to WLSSD’s property off of Central Avenue and ties into the existing Grassy Point Trail.
