Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution authorizes an Enterprise Level Agreement (ELA) with Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI) for the purposes of centralized enterprise level Geographical Information System (GIS) licensing, support and maintenance for a three-year period in the amount of $156,000.

This agreement has allowed the City the necessary licensing capacity to expand its usage of GIS across all departmental areas of the City, including online GIS mapping services. The City standardized on ESRI’s GIS mapping software in 2000. This is a sole source purchase as it is an enhancement and expansion of the current GIS system.
