CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the city of Duluth does hereby dedicate to the general public a street and utility easement over, under, and across city-owned property in St. Louis County, Minnesota legally described and depicted on the attached Exhibit A.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to record with the St. Louis County Recorder and/or Registrar of Titles of St. Louis County, Minnesota, a certified copy of this resolution effectuating the dedication granted under this resolution.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution dedicates to the general public a street and utility easement over property adjacent to the platted right-of-way of Sixth Ave. E. The City recently acquired this property under a deed from the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation. The existing street and curb width is larger than the platted right-of-way, so the City desires to dedicate this easement to provide for the width that is needed to properly use and maintain the road.
