CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proposed specifications for the new civil service classification of workforce development technician II (attached as Exhibit A), which were approved by the civil service board on September 3, 2019, are approved. This classification shall be subject to the city's collective bargaining agreement with its basic unit employees; and that pay range for said classification shall be Range 132, pay rate of $4,464 to $5,255 per month.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  The new classification of workforce development technician II has been created to be proficient in compliance with government regulations, grant performance standards, grant writing, planning, developing, designing, and implementing programs to assist clients in pursuing their career goals while developing curriculum and building relationships with employers. The pay range negotiated for the classification is Range 132, pay rate of $4,464 to $5,255 per month.
