CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to accept a cross country ski trail assistance program grant, a copy of which is attached hereto as exhibit A, with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for the maintenance of cross country ski trails in Duluth for the 2019-2020 season in the amount not to exceed $11,000; said funds to be deposited into 110-121-1217-2145-4225 (general fund, public administration, maintenance operations/park maintenance, ski trail reimbursement).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes acceptance of a Minnesota DNR grant for maintenance of the city’s cross country ski trails for $11,000.
The city annually applies for, receives, and uses this program’s funds to cover a portion of the City’s cost for cross country ski trail maintenance and grooming.
